Welcome to my little space on the web, thanks again for dropping by. I believe in crediting artists and designers properly here, so if you ever see anything that isn't linked correctly or to the right party, please email me and I'd be happy to fix it. On that note, all uncredited layouts and photography are created by yours truly, so please link back if you choose to share. Happy reading!
I mean, aren't these just the prettiest paddles you've ever seen? Launched by Norquay, a design company dedicated to creating beautiful camping gear, you can now buy them here. They also have a pretty sweet camp-inspired blog. Happy Friday!
I saw a hat on Fieldguided over the weekend and decided to investigate. I usually rock eskimo hats (you know, those hats with fur on top, plus earflaps) but have been wanting a fun knit hat that is as warm as it is cute. I'm smitten with the choices over at All for Everyone. Colorful prints and pom-poms, what more can you ask for?
I've been poking around on Etsy a bit more these days, and love what I've been seeing. Also, inspired by Tina Roth-Eisenberg's speech at Alt, the thought of side projects has been on my mind. Especially her advice to just go for it. There are some great bloggers out there with amazing craft and design skills, and their side projects always excite and intrigue me. One day soon, I'm going to go for it too. In the meantime, here are some products on Etsy that I've been loving.
i was wandering around soho the other day after work wtih a friend, and stumbled upon the will leather goods shop. i was instantly drawn in by a weekender bag in the window, and had to stop in for a closer look. i love the pretty prints, solid craftsmanship and the fact that these bags are all made in oregon. i've been on a recent kick of paying more attention to where thing are made, and i'm always in favor of buying things made right here in the u.s.a. the bags from will leather goods are on my "want" list, and i hope you'll enjoy checking out their shop too. a few of my favorite items below..
i've been in the market for a more everyday watch for awhile now, and i think i may have just found my favorites. these kate spade goodies have been calling my name ever since i spotted them on pinterest recently. might have to be one of my big purchases for spring.
we've been experiencing some gorgeous weather here on the east coast, but fall is still on my mind. some various wishlist items for you today, incorporating fashion and the home. i'm especially obsessed with that clare vivier clutch, the skull watercolor print and the bed-desktop. i don't have space in my apartment for a desk right now (nyc living at its finest), but i'd happily call my bed a "workspace" with one of those. hope you enjoy!
another edition of wishlist wednesday for you. right now, i'm all about stocking up on cozy items to prepare for the colder weather. that includes warm throws, comfy boots and even a nifty star projector for date nights in. i'm trying to welcome the chill in the air with a smile (and some shopping).
i wanted to introduce a new regular series i'll be having over here on sunshine girl, called "wishlist wednesday," happening on..you guessed it..wednesdays. just a round-up of all the stuff i've been seeing and coveting. also, a good way to practice and use moodboards. this first series was partly made during blogshop, but there will be many more to come. i hope you like it, and would love to hear your thoughts!
...i need a cocktail. freaking obsessed with this incredible design and concept. the type of thing that makes you go why didn't i think of that? anyway, if i could afford this right now, it would be up in my (new!) kitchen in a jiffy. for now, i'll have to settle for the emergency bottle(s) of wine stashed in my fridge and put this on my wish list.
