Happy New Year, readers! How were your holidays? It's been awhile since my last post. Over the past couple of weeks, I tried to take it easy, and kept blogging to a minimum. However, I've also been thinking about how this space might change and evolve in 2013. I have a few ideas which I'm going to start implementing soon, but in the meantime, if you notice my posting frequency going down, don't fret. I'm focused on bringing you more original content this year, through my camera lens, cooking adventures, and travels. Less is more, a lesson I've found to be more true each year, and I'm sticking to it.
In other random news, it's true that lately, I've been on the hunt for some super cozy sweaters. Winter has finally reared it's ugly below-freezing head, and warm sweaters are what I want to throw on every morning for an easy, effortless look. Especially because the office was an icebox today. I am especially in love with the two looks below, but as they were slightly out of my price range, I had to look elsewhere. Luckily, I hit the jackpot at Zara over the weekend (stop by there now for awesome deals on chunky knits!), and took inspiration from the looks below.
A few other things on my mind this week:
+ Resolutions. What will mine be in 2013, and how did I fare on my 2012 goals? Looking back, at least I'm consistent with my first resolution from 2012, "Less is more." And I think I ended up with 3.5 / 6 from 2012. Not terrible, not great.
+ I need to find warm socks. Extra points if they're cute. Any hints?
+ All of the Christmas trees that are thrown out on the street make me sad. Ours is still going strong!
+ Good music makes exercise so much more fun and active! Kudos to Michael who put together a great playlist in the class I took today. New favorite spin class, ever.
