i was feeling inspired by shades of spring and a bold animal print backpack for this week's edition of wishlist wednesday. with the upcoming easter holiday, it's hard not to get sucked in to the world of pastels. case in point: the perfect shade of pastel mint polish (first seen on my good friend, claire). i'd be lying if i said i didn't pick up the below shade earlier today. can't wait to sport it through the warmer seasons, hope you like this week's round-up!

spring is in the air! it's finally been warm all week, and i've been loving the fact that i can grab a light jacket and walk out of the apartment. today's wishlist wednesday features one of the best lightweight summer tees ever, a perfect weekend bag and some strappy sandals and stylish sunnies to see you through the season. 

on an unrelated note, i've begun a juice cleanse today, so wish me luck!

today's wishlist wednesday features a mix of winter/spring essentials. a bike to cruise around the city, and the chic backpack to carry your stuff in, coupled with a sturdy pair of boots that will take you through the seasons and a classic one-piece suit. hope you like it!

this week's wishlist wednesday features tinges of red and orange, in the form of backpacks, shoes, benches and more. i've mixed in a few other items as well, including ginger syrup (perfect for ginger tea, dark & stormy cocktails, etc.) and the coolest keychain ever. hope you enjoy!

four corners: kicks

i started a new job here today and i'd be lying if i said i didn't experience any first day jitters before walking in. it feels somewhat like the first day of school (which is fitting, since i am in a "school" of sorts for a few months at the new gig) which inspired me to create this post on sneakers. new clothes and pencils and notebooks always signified the start of a new school year in september and a first-day outfit wouldn't be complete without a new pair of kicks. i've included a pair i've been lusting over below (but they are waaay out of my price range, boo), as well as two very different pairs from my tried-and-true sneaker brand, vans, and a pair with some fur to keep you warm through winter. let me know what you think, and hope your mondays are off to a good start!

light, springy things today for wishlist wednesday, with a few statement-grunge pieces to mix it up. i'm pretty obsessed with those matiko boots below (and these too!), that molton brown scent is one of my favorites, and that combo of gold & brown on the satchlet below is perfect. are you a fan of anything below?
