sunshine girl turns two!

happy tuesday! i'm back home from a fun and relaxing long weekend in miami (pictures to come), and excited to announce that sunshine girl turns two today! :) i created an ideal birthday collage to celebrate the day, and am proud of how i've progressed in the past two years. i also look forward to what's next, and hope you do too. thank you for being a reader, whether you started two years or two days ago, i love your sweet comments and encouragement. i write this blog for me, but for you too. cheers!

desert fashion, inspiring offices, sea-themed parties

it's all a part of rue issue 4, which i just love! i think it's one of the best yet. there were so many inspiring spreads, from a sneak peek of the kate spade bedding collection to a blissful desert fashion shoot, a spring and sea themed party and the most inspiring office space i've ever seen. i loved flipping every page (and was even greeted by a pleasant surprise on page 18) and wanted to share a few favorites below. but hopefully, you'll head over there and see for yourself. happy reading!

stamped invitations

i took an unnanounced mini-break, but i'm back now! work was piling up, and life was just getting busy, but i'm here again, this time, to share an amazing wedding invite that i stumbled upon via oh joy!. designed by joy cho of oh joy! and sold at wedding paper divas, these beautiful stamped wedding invites are calling my name. not that i'm feeling a calling for wedding invites at all, but if i was, these would definitely be one of my top contenders. i love the bright, cheery, travel-inspired stamp design on the clean, white stock, and these invites would be perfect for the adventurous couple to be. love!

light-filled ranch wedding

spotted this beautiful wedding on green wedding shoes today and couldn't stop looking. added most of the images to my pinboards on pinterest, and still feel the need to share. the light-filled wedding takes place on a ranch, features a beautiful newlywed couple and a pretty horse, pastel shades and sweet snacks, lots of succulents and rustic backdrops. i think it's perfection. happy weekend everyone!

dreamy drink station

on a warm day like today, what could be a better greeting than the drink station below? coupled with the  beautiful flowered cake from this wedding, i think it'd be a great afternoon. i'm in love with everything this couple incorporated into their festivities, but the drink dispensers and cake caught my attention the most. what a perfect way to spend an afternoon.

sante fe inspiration

came across these santa-fe inspired wedding invites tonight from the indigo bunting, how pretty are they? i've never seen anything like them, cool patterns and colors, all done really elegantly, with a rustic twist. i would love to have invitations half as pretty as these for any future event. eye candy for sure.

puzzleboard party

i laid eyes on this and now i must have it. puzzle pieces, another thing near and dear to my heart, as a cutting board? i'm sold. except i wouldn't use it for chopping on, oh no, only for admiring from afar and eating yummy snacks off of. really, i can't think of a more stylish party tray--can you? buy it here!

i stumbled across these wedding party favors on oh happy day! and i love them. if i was having a party soon, i would definitely give these away as a sweet parting snack--the packaging is beautiful, and the treat inside can't be beat!

i would be lying if i told you i wasn't in absolute love with these cheery popsicle-shaped invitations to a sunny picnic. my obsession with paper, pretty things, summer and picnics all rolled into one perfect invitation. amazing and creative.
