There are certain cities that just make incredible settings for photo shoots, and Miami is one of them. The city's energy, tropical backdrop and bright surroundings can't be beat, and the latest Free People catalogue for May is no exception. I am pretty in love with the looks, not to mention the perfectly captured photos, fun colors, and overall look and feel. Two big thumbs up for this one, it takes me right back to the city.

if you're like me, when the holidays, a birthday or other occasions roll around, you're scrambling to send out cards and always having to ask friends for their home addresses. yesterday, i discovered postable, via swissmiss, and i think it's solved my address-groveling problem for good. not only is it a genius idea, but it's a beautifully designed site, with a clear user interface, and clever, sweet copy. be sure to check out the site's 'about' page. i think everything about it is awesome, and hope that you'll find it as useful as i do. here's to sending more mail!

...i need a cocktail. freaking obsessed with this incredible design and concept. the type of thing that makes you go why didn't i think of that? anyway, if i could afford this right now, it would be up in my (new!) kitchen in a jiffy. for now, i'll have to settle for the emergency bottle(s) of wine stashed in my fridge and put this on my wish list.

wow. in love with this look. it's bold, but in the coolest way. lauren conrad recently launched a great site called the beauty department. bri of designlovefest did the awesome blog design, of course, and this hair how-to is one of the best i've seen. a rainbow of highlights sounds pretty sweet to me.

this might just be one of the best side table designs ever invented. i'm notorious for bringing a glass of wine with me to bed and am always afraid of knocking it over. in comes great design to save the day. and the fact that this table is so portable and comes with a bottle holding add-on makes me love it even more. it can transition so easily from bedroom to living room too, with a conveniently located handle on top. now, the usual question comes in. why didn't i think of that?

a little morning inspiration/obsession. spotted this bag in kate spade's new arrivals section on their website and instantly fell in love. a perfect summer satchel for walking around the city, strolling in the park, bike rides, picnics, concerts and more. i want it...i need it.
