surf, baby! by mac cosmetics

i've been looking for a new bronzer. mac has answered my prayers. they also fulfilled my need for cheery, surf-inspired packaging. everyone knows my secret dream in life is to be a surfer girl. i'll also obviously be needing the lip tints and bronzer highlighting stick. this collection is perfect for me. the only problem now: waiting until may 26th. it might kill me. ooh and ahh over the collection below.

ocean-inspired

today really feels like summer here in nyc, and i love it. it's got me in a great mood, feeling active and happy. now i'm dreaming about the ocean and the beach, i can't wait to lay in the sun this summer and play in the surf. i've always loved blues and nudes together--the colors of the sand and ocean--and thought i'd share a collage with you of some covetable ocean-inspired pieces. i might need to have that scarf in my possession tonight, i'm in love. and that funky beach-print bangle, with a cheeky "wish you were here" inscribed on the inside. so clever. do you have a favorite ocean-inspired piece that reminds you of summer?

coco rocha + green eyes

i love the playfulness of these coco rocha shots, by arthur elgort. the mouse ears and the ice cream, plus her amazing iridescent green eye makeup just scream fun and summer. i need to copy this makeup look btw, it's like a smoky green look of amazingness.
