I recently realized that I take a lot of pictures on my phone, but I don't look through them often enough. I thought that this once-a-month post would help me look back and remember all of the moments and memories from the previous month. I've always felt that looking ahead requires a bit of reflection and looking back. And it's nice to be thankful and smile upon good times. So, a recap of the past April below, as we begin May today!

i'm still reliving my weekend trip to miami, and there's no better way to do that than to go through photos from my time there. i've also promised some recap pictures for you, so wanted to share a few instagram shots from my days there. they were filled with lounging in the sun, listening to amazing music, lots of dancing and some lovely dates. it was a great escape and i hope to go back to miami, forever one of my favorite cities, soon.

this week was a busy one, with holiday parties, reunions with friends, two trips to spitzer's and a big birthday for my roommate! i'm looking forward to a fun weekend filled with celebrations, good food and good company, so i'm going to get to it. hope you enjoy this last weekend before the holiday craziness begins too!

happy friday everyone! i have to say that it's been an exhausting week. between a trip to brooklyn ikea, a 4 hour wrestling match with my new malm dresser, work events and gloomy weather, i am ready for the weekend! and even more exciting, blogshop has finally arrived! i'm really looking forward to meeting bri, angela and joanna, learning a lot and connecting with some new bloggers! wish me luck! some snaps from the week below, enjoy your weekends!

so last night, i spent 4 hours piecing together this guy for my room. it was quite an effort, but by the end, i was proud of my accomplishment and equally happy with the result. more storage always makes me giddy. i love the mirrored top and the vertical shape of this dresser--it's really great for my room, as it saves floor space but offers tons of drawers for my stuff. a couch to assemble is on the agenda tonight. but hooray for our apt finally coming together! here's what the finished product looks like:

it's been a looong, busy week. on the exciting side, i'm going to my first polo match tomorrow (working the event, but still cool) and blogshop nyc is just a week away! tonight, an out of town friend is coming to visit, so looking forward to a girl's night. aside from that, i'm really looking forward to downtime the rest of the weekend. hope you enjoy yours too!

this week has been short, thanks to a monday holiday, but also busy! the rain on tuesday-wednesday was a total bummer that made it really feel like fall was here to stay, but today, the sun is out and shining so feels like summer again. no complaints here. i'm including some snaps from my weekend below, because they were too good not to share (and because i'm still reliving some of the sets i saw). also, the usual food (friench fries of course) and nyc shots as well. tonight, i'm helping with a fun fashion event for work, then off to jersey for a relaxing weekend. hope you have a great one too! back on monday.

the week before a long weekend always feels a bit stretched out, and this week has been no exception. everyone has been anxiously awaiting the extra day off, including me, and now it's finally here! very excited. i'm headed to a big concert on randall's island in nyc for the weekend, and i'll be surrounded by great music and great company. what are you up to this weekend? hopefully it involves fun and relaxation--it's sad to say, but summer is almost over, so i'm all about squeezing in as much as i can into these last hot days. a few snaps from the week to tide you over for the weekend--now go and enjoy it!
