i got the h&m newsletter in my e-mail today and am now newly obsessed with their sports collection. athletic wear that's cute and affordable, count me in. my fitness kick has been becoming a healthier lifestyle change in a good way, so i've been on the hunt for some new stylish, functional workout gear for motivation. these pieces could definitely work. and, as a sidenote, i like the way h&m depicted a strong, athletic model in their campaign. everything in the collection seems to range between $13-$30, and you can check out some pics from the campaign below.

public bikes

so i came across public bikes' website this morning via my daily sugar digest, and i was super impressed. i haven't bought a new bike since i was say, 12, so it definitely has been awhile. i think that if i had one, i'd use it pretty often, but right now, i'm holding out for the right time, and at least until i move out on my own. still, if i had my pick right now, i'd get the bike below, in addition to the awesome accessories, and i'd be biking away, looking cute as can be. (at least, that's the picture in my head...more accurately, i would probably fall and scrape my knees and scatter my new farmer's market finds all over the street, but hey, a girl can dream.) anyway, go check out public bikes and tell me you don't want one.

i love my brain, and you should too. safe biking with a helmet is a must, even if it does give you dreaded helmet hair. then again, that just rolled out of bed look is in, right?

with summer looming (a mere 2 months away, YESSS!), it's really time to kick my butt into shape. i've been eating decently and working out sparingly, but i think it's time to get into high-gear aka gym gym gym almost every day and less eating, or more healthy eating. also finally time to start my pilates dvd's and start running/walking outside as it gets warmer. these alessandra ambrosio pictures by david burton are great motivation!
