kind of loving these black and white shots of angela lindvall for l'officiel paris. the lack of color makes pictures so much more dramatic in a sophisticated way. i'm especially a fan of the stripey shirtdress in the first photo. a little tuesday inspiration for you.

i'm loving these black and white photos of leighton meester uk marie claire shoot. her chic braided chignon looks so pulled together and elegant, but that smoky eyeshadow, tattoo and leather jacket keep her looking edgy and sleek. i want to recreate this look asap.

there's something so beautiful and classic about black and white photographs. there's more contrast, more edge and more mood in the photos somehow, and they really do seem like moments preserved in time. i've been especially inspired by black and white photos today, so wanted to share a few of my recent favorites. enjoy!

miranda kerr, one of my favorite models, just announced yesterday that she and her hubby, orlando bloom, are indeed expecting! i'm sure their baby will be beautiful. baby news aside, this june elle shoot of miranda portrays her in a way that's much different from her traditional victoria's secret angels look. black + white, edgy yet elegant, i'm loving her clothes (and that hair!) happy friday everyone!

this girl has a name to remember! not to mention, pictures to remember. this whole shoot screams carefree summer, i just had to post the pictures. with august moving fast, there are only 30 days left of summer (btw, HOW did that happen?!)...gotta enjoy every minute of sunshine and sand. this shoot was for june's elle italia, behati looks beautiful, and i'm about to head out to catch some late day rays. hope you all have a great weekend!

let's go camping!

if i could look as chic as tori praver in this elle italia shoot while camping, i'd also be a supermodel. despite my non-supermodel status, the shoot is still eye candy, and as i've been wanting to plan a camping trip this summer, it's definitely giving me some inspiration (although i won't be wearing dsquared or alex wang on my camping trip, ha). who wants to come with me? s'mores, campfires, tents and looking up at the stars, sounds like a great way to spend the weekend to me.

 

 

 

it's always sunny in philadelphia

..at least this weekend it will be! happy friday everyone! looks like it’s going to be another beautiful weekend, i’m so glad that summer is in full swing now! i’m heading on a little roadtrip to philadelphia with the bf, we’re staying here and i’m pretty excited to check it out! not to mention, there will definitely be good food (and a cheesesteak, of course), some historical site visits and maybe even a stop at the philly zoo! hope you have an amazing weekend too!

marisa miller is the epitome of a california surfer girl, minus the fact that she also happens to be an extremely successful vs/si model. therefore, she is my idol, as we all know i'd love to just pick up, move to cali, and live out my surfer girl dreams (the fact that i've never surfed before is irrelevant in this fantasy, obviously). but clearly, in this shoot, she can be both sultry and surfer girl at the same time. her shoot for vegas magazine's march issue is hot hot hot and my motivation to get fit for summer continues..
