Dedicating this week's Wishlist Wednesday to all the mothers out there, including my mom! The one day of recognition they're given isn't nearly enough. I thought I'd round up some goodies that would make for great gifts, and of course, spending time with your mom if you can is the best present of all.

Sweet Posters

I stumbled across the work of Sean Mort on Fab yesterday and was instantly drawn in by his fun posters. I couldn't resist buying a summery popsicle print, and admired the rest of his work too. He does artwork for bands and his style is playful and clean. One day, I definitely want to own a beautiful print that commemorates a concert I've attended. I haven't come across one yet, but I hope to soon. In the meantime, take a closer look at some of Sean's posters below and I hope you find them as pleasing as I do.

wishlist wednesday

just back from a beach vacation, and inspired by all things colorful and ocean-inspired. the hotel we stayed at had a copy of the roxy girl surf book in the lobby which i was a fan of, and that cool light shade is made from repurposed beach chair material. pretty sweet, right? throw in a floaty beach tunic and a colorful geometric painting and you've got elements from today's wishlist wednesday. enjoy!

i'm always intrigued by the portfolios of artists, photographers and graphic designers. i thought i'd start a series where i draw attention to the creative work of the many genius minds out there. first up: mike kus. a graphic and web designer who excels at illustration. he's based in the UK, and his work looks pretty sweet. check it out below, and be sure to peruse his portfolio.

sharing some fun wishlist items today, including a belated (but adorable) valentine's day domo doll, cute polka dot wallpaper, a bold architectural cuff and sweet kitchen utensils, among other things. i love that print below as well, and "better together" has always been one of my favorite songs. happy wednesday!

i've seen lila's work before, but finally landed on her full portfolio yesterday and became even more smitten. her calligraphy work is gorgeous and i love what the words she chooses to illustrate.
