if you're a ramen fan, then you're bound to be familiar with ippudo in new york. located in the east village/noho area, this ramen shop is famous for its pork buns and various ramens. i finally got the chance to go recently with a friend (and with a minimal wait) and had a delicious experience. the restaurant is lively and fun as the staff shouts itadakimasu and irasshaimase when people enter and eat. if you're in the neighborhood or have a ramen craving, i would definitely check it out. here are some recent shots from my trip there.
