i'm in the middle of reading this book my friend, claire, lent me, called one day. it's about a boy and a girl (aren't most stories?) and the book takes them through their lives, offering glimpses into various days each year. of course, there's some romantic bent too. are they friends, more than friends, lovers...it's hard to tell, and the point is, i don't think they really know either.
overall, i love the way the story really pulls its readers into the lives of its characters--reminds me how much i love getting lost in a good book. anyway, the characters are about my age, and the emotions they feel are easy to relate to, which is a big part of why i like it. a snippet from the boy that struck me below...i think it's good advice.
